setup machine

I have not built a rig in years I always just buy setup machine. Does anyone have a better solution these days?

Yep. But I have not found anything better than "setup machine" - which kicks arse.

We use TSM here a lot cause we are a very very small team and most of the time we DON'T need CUSTOM rigs, TSM works great for the day to day stuff.

Nice to know you use it too.

A friend recommended setup machine to cure my maya rigging trauma, but went the long route as I think its beneficial to take the hard road first (I'm still a newbie to the industry)...

 

I did use comet scripts to allign the joints but still had to go and sort out the fingers. Managed to paint minimal weights but still more than I would have in LW.
