For the past 3 years iam working with both equalilzer and boujou..
i used boujou for simple autotrack shts only. But i used 3dequalizer for all kind of complicated and simple shts, the features like lens distortion and survey data is powerful comparing to boujou, but.for me 3dequalizer is very proffessional and good for all shts.
i really loved to work with it....

I'd have to agree with a lot of users here. Syntheyes is my preferred tracker. The interface is very user friendly and the tracks I get out of it are extremely accurate. It exports and imports with just about every format out there too. Plus if it doesn't, it's language is easy enough for the average TD to add one. I've used it on hundreds of shots now, big and small, and it's by far my favorite. Oh, and I've also used Boujou, MatchMover, and a tad of Equalizer.

I used syntheyes in the past and should get a license as I know it's groen leaps and bounds. I have been using PF Track over the last few year which is such a solid tracking solution. I also used Maya's built in tracker great when I had nothing else at hand but limiting to really work a track.

Maya Live is the only tracking software I've used. It wasn't easy but even a newbie student like I was (at the time) managed to make it work. Great if you already have Maya Unlimited, probably a bit pricey if you just want a dedicated application for the purpose of 3D camera tracking.

The Anatomy of a Disaster Scene in the Movie 2012
Francis Camacho and I did the matchmove in-house using 3D-Equalizer at Uncharted Territory using simultaneous multiple object tracking with point weights to control movement for simulations of collapsing houses.
